COUNTY CRIMINAL RECORD HISTORY:

The county level criminal search is typically conducted at the county seat. If there is both a lower and upper court in the physical building at the county seat, both courts are searched. If there is only one court (upper court) located at the county seat, then that court is searched. If a record is found, the information reported includes, the case number, the file date, the charge, the disposition date, the disposition, the sentence and the identifiers. Special requests such as "city courts" are available for an additional charge.

STATEWIDE CRIMINAL HISTORY

This is a search of the state repository of all available felony and misdemeanor records. In most cases the state repository is reliant on the individual county and the timeliness of their reporting. This search is not available in all states and it may require a release.

U.S. FEDERAL DISTRICT CRIMINAL HISTORY

The Federal District Criminal History will search the U.S. District Court within a single federal judicial district. U.S. District Courts are trial courts for felony and misdemeanor matters involving federal law. Many judicial districts contain more than one court location ('division'). The information returned includes the case number, the file date, the charge, the disposition date, the disposition, the sentence and the identifiers if any. Case copies may/may not be available, as files are transferred to Federal Record Centers after a certain period of time.

NATIONAL CRIMINAL INDEX SEARCH

The National Criminal Index Search is a powerful database search of over 140 million county and state level criminal records. This is however a database search and we recommend completing this search in conjunction with a county criminal history.

COUNTY (UPPER) CIVIL RECORD HISTORY

A county upper level civil case involves one or more plaintiffs filing a complaint against one or more defendants. Civil actions/law suits are typically classified by either the amount of money sought by the plaintiff or the type of case. This search will yield information only for higher civil actions filed for more than a minimum claim amount established by the state. Civil actions do not typically list a subject's date of birth or social security number so they are generally returned as name only matches. Typical information reported includes the case number, the case type, the file date, the parties, the amount sought, the disposition date, the disposition, the judgment (if any) and any identifiers that are located. Marriage /divorce records are not reported by this type of search.

COUNTY (LOWER) CIVIL RECORD HISTORY

The County (Lower) Court Civil Record searches are conducted at one lower court within a given county, typically at the county seat (if a specific lower court is required by the client, a surcharge will apply). The Search typically includes lower level civil actions. Due to the lack of identifiers in lower court cases, providing a middle name or initial and address is highly recommended. The information returned will include the case number, the type of case, the file date, the parties involved, the disposition, the disposition date, the judgment and any identifiers found.

U.S. FEDERAL DISTRICT CIVIL RECORD HISTORY

The U.S. District Civil Courts are courts of general jurisdiction or trial courts involving federal matters excluding bankruptcy. Essentially, this means they hear cases involving federal law or cases where there is diversity of citizenship. There may be more then one court associated within a given state and normally the only identifier that can be found is the subject's name. If a record is found, the information that is returned includes, the case number, the file date, the type of case, the parties, the disposition date, the disposition, the judgment and the identifiers. Copies may or may not be available as cases are sent to a federal records center after a certain length of time.

U.S. FEDERAL BANKRUPTCY SEARCH

U.S. Bankruptcy Courts generally follow the same geographical boundaries as the U.S. District Courts. There is at least one court for every state and there may be one or more judicial districts. Within the judicial district there may be more than one location or division. Provided that you have the subject's address, we should be able to locate the correct court to search. If a record is found, the result will `return` the case number, the file date, and the chapter of the bankruptcy the disposition date and the disposition or outcome.

MOTOR VEHICLE HISTORY

The MVR Search provides driving records from the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Driver history information typically includes the personal identifiers, the subject's driving history, the subject's license type, and the subject's driving restrictions or infractions, if any. Most states require a driver's license number to retrieve driving records. The state DMV if available can also verify non-driver IDs.

SOCIAL SECURITY TRACE

The Social Security Trace is a method of matching a social security number to an applicant. The social security trace is generated from one of the three major credit bureaus and it may list past and present addresses, as well as the subject's last known employment and/or any akas or maiden names used. The social security trace is an excellent tool to use when screening an application.

EMPLOYMENT CREDIT REPORT

The employment credit report is pulled from one of the three major credit bureaus. The report can show the subject's akas/maiden names, addresses, employment, and a summary of all of the subject's accounts both revolving and installment. The report can also lists any accounts that are in collections, judgments, liens and/or bankruptcies. Then the report breaks down all of the accounts listing the applicant's payment history followed by recent inquiries into the applicant's credit history.
